| Marti, the dinner on Thursday was wonderful. Delicious and abundant. Robert S. the cardiologist was at the dinner and told me that you had catered their lunch last week or were about to do so! We shared the leftovers on Friday with folks on the farm, feeding another 9 people at lunchtime. I always say that your meals are like the fish and the loaves story in the Bible...God blesses your cooking and it multiplies! Thanks again for bringing folks we love to the table together. |

| This place is the perfect place for a lovely meal on a sunny, breezy day. Plenty of FREE parking in the back. The setup of the restaurant reminds me of sitting in my grandma's home. To be honest, I think it might've been a home transformed into a restaurant. Although small, it's real cozy. They give you HUGE amounts of food. Like others said, a half sandwich could easily fill you up. I got the curry chicken salad--the spice didn't overpower the sandwich at all. Pita chips are super flavorful. An extra $3 gets you a whopping cup of pimento cheese. YUM YUM YUM. I rarely order any beverages but I got sucked in on the mint sweet tea. ADDICTING STUFF. Could have tasted even better with a shot of vodka or something. 2 sandwiches, 2 beverages, and a side of pimento cheese cost me a whopping $25. Add tip and it was $30. That's a little more than I would've liked to pay but the food was fantastic. |

| I usually don't send emails to tell businesses about my experiences, but I have to tell you how great mine was. I finally got a day off during the week and had a chance to come in. I am so glad I did! Everyone was so nice (which I know can be hard during a busy lunch rush). I have been looking for a place in Athens to get good homemade pimiento cheese and I found it. Hopefully I'll get a chance soon to come in and sit down for lunch instead of having to take it to go. I will definitely be back! |

I called in an order of 4 lunches & desserts...Long story short - your place was already packed and I assumed I'd be waiting a while since only 5 min. had passed since I called the order in. Instead, the counter help told you "Martha" is here and I think my order was moved up and whipped up to perfection! I am still drooling over the spicy P&C I devoured and Mom's spinach/bleu salad pleased her to no end. Dad's turkey hit the spot and spouse's tuna was to-die-for! Thanks for a delicious and generous experience during an otherwise crummy day! I plan on joining half of Athenstown and being a regular at Marti's! You are a huge asset to our area. |
